Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot
Pants Labyrinth

We were really made up with the amazing alternative film poster for the event by Rhonda Davies, printed at Liverpool Community Print Station. Copies will be available to buy on the Prints n Tha website.

Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot

  • Director: Roger Spottiswoode
  • Country: US
  • A tough police sergeant's overbearing mother comes to visit him and begins to meddle in his life and career.

Hda (Historias De Amor)

HDA (History of Love)

  • Director: JAVIER ARTIGAS
  • Country: Spain
  • Abel has already turned thirty and refuses to change to fit in with what society expects of him. His friend Sandra insists that he find someone to settle down with, something that sounds more like an imposition than advice. The two friends witness a wedding ceremony that is not what it seems: the union between the two people involved turns out to be literal, merging into one, a system that Abel refuses to go through. It is a widespread and radical solution to a problem of overpopulation that, in this way, considerably reduces the number of individuals that inhabit the planet. Despite the grotesqueness of the scene, Abel ends up accepting his fate when, by chance, he meets someone with whom he believes he could "fit in."

Pants Labyrinth

  • Director: Simon Jones and Kaylee Nicholas
  • Country: UK
  • This surreal and absurd comedy follows Olivia as she tries to escape a bad date and ends up in a labyrinth made of underpants.

Sueño Finlandés Y Paranoico

Finnish & The Paranoid Dream

  • Director: JIMENA AGUILAR
  • Country: Argentina
  • How to talk about the future when it seems there is no future? The world exploded and it only remains a voice formulating hypotheses about a future that will be or that already is. What is all this? A prologue to the future? The future itself? A Finnish and paranoid dream? It seems that the future has already arrived and many of our fantasies about the different futuristic imaginaries already inhabit this world along with our humanity. As an example of this: artificial intelligence, a tool that we used to make this short film and that intersects organically with its concept.
